Ucertify, a tool to Learn and Keep Learning.

I recently came across UCertify.com and I have been checking out the course of CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) recently. On accessing this for couple of weeks, here are my basic feelings

Its an awesome learning site, where one can see
– their basic assessments
– the progress of where they are going

One thing I really liked about this is that they have given different forms of Multiple Choice Questions, which ranges from Drag and Drop, Choosing the right answers, and not to mention the awesome graphics which would improve your learning.

There’s lots of really in-depth knowledge given in the course and very well structured. After reading about a subject, you have a tiny quiz right there to help you remember what you just read. Then at the end of each lesson, you are challenged to think. You are given a scenario and a situation, these kinds of questions really help get you apply what you learn to various scenarios you might encounter.

There’s flashcards for each lesson with many terms to learn, and you test yourself as you gradually learn more and more terms to help you become more familiar with them and score better on the test. The course challenges you to keep retaking until you score 100% on each quiz. You are also given a readiness score based on your performances on the quizzes and tests. If a score of 90% or more achieved then you are eligible for a certificate from uCertify, and by that time you definitely should be ready to pass the CompTIA CySA+ exam, I don’t know who wouldn’t after passing this course.

All in all, a good learning experience, coupled with getting ready with their courses.

What skill would you most like to learn in 2012?

Today when I was wandering on the net, my gtalk buzzed. What skill would I learn in 2012. Here goes.

– learn one new language. Arabic or French. One being language of Quran,  other bieng of love.
– learn new programming language
– learn to be more humble human. More controlled temperament,  emotions.
– praise someone genuinely and let them really give the idea of real appreciation.  These days many take actual praise as false, and then one has to tell them, that is it for real.
– be more in tune with my spiritual side.
